Part IV: My Wedding Reception By The Beach

It was almost 7pm already when we finished our Photo Shoots, very good timing to have the party started but never all our guests was feeling hungry as they were served with canapes and cocktails while we were having our photo shoots, right after my husband and I went straight to our room to change our clothes. He just took off his top and left the white long shirts on, while I totally had a new look for the whole evening.

It was a very lovely evening though! When I first came down to see what it was like, oh my God - beautiful arrangements of small plates with desserts, and the resort staffs welcomed us with cocktails to start. However, some of our guests were

already seated waiting for us and wondering what was going to happen next aside from eating right in front of the sea. Nice romantic music were playing, we heard some birds singing and the sea waves splashing by the shore. It was on it's low tide at that moment, so we had all the space for us, for that event! AMAZING!!

While I was on my way to stand next to my husband, I heard people started shouting and clapping their hands, while there were drums playing and ladies singing. When I turned my head towards their direction, I realized it was the "Sega Dancers" - the local entertainers, which they normally offer to wedding receptions. We didn't know what it was, we just booked it for the night, at least to give entertainment to our guests. Here they are, guys were playing their improvised instruments, while the ladies were dancing.

They were gorgeous!, and after playing a few minutes they all stopped and taking us to dance with them! That was funny really and look at us dancing!

Haayyy, we all a bit tired when they finished, and it lasted for about 1 and half hours!! Dinner were served, we had a barbeque as weel, loads of choices to eat plus desserts, etc..

While we were eating, there were "Trio" came to give us romantic love songs. Look at my father, he stood up to entertain us too..lol, and funny really because most of us were dancing while they were singing.

Everybody really enjoyed, and it was absolutely such a fantastic experience. An experience that never be forgotten by everyone who witnessed and experienced themselves. IT WAS ONE OF A KIND... In fact, we finished at almost 1'oclock the following morning! We had some rain showers too, a blessings for a new beginning.

Part III: My Wedding Day Photo Shoots

My wedding day story continues by giving you the details of our photo shoots session. Part of our photograph and video package, was to have a photo shoots right after the ceremony, before our reception took place and while serving snacks to your guests and families, which basically we went around the resort and posed as much as we liked! What do you need here is A LOT OF SMILE, which we did from the very beginning.

Photographs are the only memories you could always look back in times. So it is normal that couples spend loads of money on wedding photographers, so make the most of it. It's your day, and we as Brides are the stars of our big day!

Part II: My Wedding Ceremony By The Beach

"Forever is not a word...rather a place where two lovers go when true love takes them there.

At last, after hours and hours of waiting, have finally seen my man - my love and my future. A million dollar smiles... "Love is a hard rock between two people and can't be torn apart"... While we were walking going down to the beach, love songs and wedding songs were beautifully playing, it was very romantic though... The moment I saw all our guests with big smiles on their faces and the non-stop flashes from their cameras, I started crying... The venue was lovely, we were surrounded by with fresh flowers. Anyway, we only had a 30 minutes ceremony done by the Head of Civil Registrar in Mauritius (as shown on top right).

"A ring is round, it turns forever and that's how long we'll be together!"

We were both in tears here, was very romantic though.
“Love begins with a smile, grows with a kiss, and ends with a teardrop.”

My father and Mr. Giff Bishop (our Chief Engineer here at work), signed our marriage license as our 2 witnesses.

As soon as the ceremony was finished, the Civil Head had pronounced us as "Husband & Wife"... at last and finally!! "Forever is not today, not tomorrow or a century that will come, but a lifetime."

One thing that I forgot to tell my husband to "bless" ("mano po" in Tagalog) to my parents - to take their both hands and put in his forehead - one of the Filipino cultures, which basically a sign of respect! After here, I'm gonna be taking you to our 2 hours photo shoots - we went around the resort, around the beach, taking the gorgeous sunset.
